Art.com this year gave its site a modern, minimalistmakeover, while also adding two sections designed to inspire users to exploreits 1.5 million SKUs. You+Art is a members-only area where customers cancollect art from the site and test how it would look in their homes using anaugmented reality tool. Members spend two to three times as long on Art.comthan non-members and they spend 35% more per order on average, says CEOGeoffroy Martin. Get Inspired focuses on a handful of décor styles, such as“bold moves” or “traditional elegance,” and offers articles and image galleriesfor each. The section also features curated collectionsand insights from well-known artists and designers invited by Art. “We want to helpyou find what you didn’t know you were looking for,” Martin says.
