Shoptiques brings the world’s retail boutiques online. Based in New York, founder Olga Vidisheva travels the globe to find out-of-the-ordinary products from local shops and, with the shop owners, presents them to online shoppers. Shoptiques staffers pick the products, take photos and create videos, usually right in the boutique setting so online shoppers can get a sense of what it is like to shop there. Shoptiques also features extensive information about the boutiques, their owners and their approach to fashion. Online orders are packed and shipped by the boutique, which means consumers can expect deliveries from places like Paris and Tokyo. Consumers with style questions are encouraged to call the boutique owner—Shoptiques provides each shop’s phone number.
