The apparel retailer’s blog, dubbed “Of Rogues & Gentleman,” offers bits of advice about style, etiquette and entertainment, and good-to-know information like how to find a decent barber. Fashionable Brooks Brothers’ fans are invited to act as guest writers. The blog is presented as an online magazine featuring archives, links to Brooks Brothers products, a subscription form and social media sharing. The main e-commerce site features faceted navigation that lets a consumer target styles he likes, and a “remember this” star appears on every product so he can match a dapper tie with shirts and a jacket during that shopping session. If he creates an account, the e-commerce site saves the picks for another visit.
