A size profile makes shopping DestinationXL faster and easier for men.
DestinationXL sells apparel for tall and large men, guys who typically find it challenging to find clothes that fit. To make a tough task easier, the retailer, which sells products across five brand sites via DestinationXL, encourages shoppers to create and save a size profile. After a shopper enters details like his inseam, waist, collar and sleeve dimensions, every time he visits the site he’ll only see the products available that will fit him. “No one wants to visit a product page just to find out their size is not in stock,” says Jay Nigrelli, the retailer’s vice president of e-commerce. Nigrelli says response has been positive and guys who use a size profile say they are more satisfied with their shopping experience than non-users.
