These companies have been successfully acquired by the likes of Cisco Systems, Inc., Symantec Corp. and Trustwave. One of the businesses Olson co-founded, WheelGroup Corporation, produced the first commercially viable Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and was subsequently acquired by Cisco.
