World’s largest mobile shopping community leverages Best Buy’s API to give ShopSavvy Wallet users faster results and more choices.

ShopSavvy, the world’s largest mobile shopping community, today announced enhancements to ShopSavvy Wallet, which will offer consumers more choices faster following the integration of an application programming interface (API) from Best Buy.
ShopSavvy Wallet allows users to make mobile purchases with just one tap from dozens of major retailers, including Best Buy, Walmart, Barnes & Noble, Nordstrom, Toys ‘R’ Us, JC Penney and Home Depot. ShopSavvy Wallet users who scan an item in a store and see a better deal online can purchase it immediately without ever leaving ShopSavvy. Now, with the new API from the BBYOpen team at Best Buy, users get more online and local-store offers than ever before and they get them faster.

A recent survey of more than 1,000 ShopSavvy Wallet users showed that nearly 70 percent of them positively described the experience, calling it either “delightful” or “easy.” More than 54 percent of respondents said it was faster than expected.
