Overstock leads August consistency ratings

The retailer topped Internet Explorer and Firefox consistency tests.

Lead Photo had the best consistency score for Internet Explorer testing among large retailers tested in August, says Compuware Gomez. Last month, the retailer had the most consistent Internet Explorer site loading time with a variation of 0.65 seconds. also had the best Firefox consistency score at 0.47 seconds. (0.76 seconds) placed second in Internet Explorer tests. (0.98) came in third, finished in fourth (0.99) and (1.00) in fifth.

In Firefox testing, followed in second place with a deviation of 0.96 seconds. trailed in third place (0.98) and was followed by (1.03 seconds). and (1.05) tied in fifth place.

The average Internet Explorer consistency score among the 19 retailers measured in August was 1.47 seconds. The same group of retailers produced an average Firefox score of 1.89 seconds.

The consistency ratings take into account differences in the speed of web page delivery across multiple visits.
