New York and Berlin, September 10, 2012 – Sociomantic Labs, the Berlin-based pioneer of real-time bidding (RTB) technologies for eCommerce advertisers, today announced that Jason Kelly has been named its new CEO as the company launches in North America. Mr. Kelly, the former Chief Revenue Officer at Admeld who had been focused on the company’s integration after its acquisition by Google, takes the reins of Sociomantic as the company has dramatically increased its global footprint, doubling its impressions volume on a quarterly basis for the past six quarters.
As it has grown in the EU and worldwide, Sociomantic has also opened offices in Moscow, Russia and São Paulo, Brazil this month, making it the first major RTB technology player conducting significant business in these countries.

At Google, he was focused on the preservation and maintenance of these publisher relationships post-acquisition and the integration of Admeld into the Google technology stack. Prior to his term at Time Inc., Mr. Kelly worked within Advisory Services for Rapt for two years, through its acquisition by Microsoft in 2008. Before entering the interactive media industry, Mr. Kelly was responsible for eCommerce related initiatives including online distribution, sales and revenue management for Virgin America and Frontier Airlines among other carriers within commercial aviation.
