(NASDAQ: NUAN) today announced that its Dragon voice recognition technology is powering the voice search feature for Grainger’s new mobile app for iOS and Android devices. Grainger, North America’s leading broad line supplier of maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) products, integrated Nuance’s voice recognition via the Dragon Mobile SDK as part of the NDEV Mobile developer program.
Grainger’s mobile app offers customers access to the company’s more than 900,000 products, making it even easier for MRO professionals to search for products, check product availability and quickly order products while on the go. By integrating Nuance’s Dragon voice recognition, Grainger customers can quickly and easily search Grainger’s diverse products to find exactly what they need, when and where they need it.
