Catalog Spree Hires Former eBay and Offermatic Executive as CMO

Arnaud Collin Joins Catalog Spree Leadership Team

LOS ALTOS, Calif. (June 27, 2012) – Catalog Spree, the highest-rated catalog shopping app for the iPad, today announces the addition of Arnaud Collin to its executive team. Arnaud brings more than 12 years of experience in consumer Internet and e-commerce to his role as Chief Marketing Officer for the rapidly growing startup, which has grown its employee base by 66% since December.

Arnaud joins Catalog Spree with extensive international experience both in startups and large organizations, across a wide range of marketing disciplines. In addition to leading the eBay marketing teams in Belgium and Australia, Arnaud drove eBay customer loyalty and retention efforts and built and implemented Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) for eBay worldwide.  At Offermatic – a startup backed by Kleiner Perkins (KPCB) – Arnaud developed and led marketing strategies that doubled the website conversion rate and increased the customer base by a factor of five.

The mobile shopping category continues to grow at a rapid pace, with sales expected to skyrocket from $3 billion in 2010 to $31 billion in 2016. Already a category leader, Catalog Spree is well positioned to capitalize on this growth under Arnaud’s direction. As CMO, Arnaud will guide the overall marketing strategy for Catalog Spree to ensure that product development, as well as overall social media and PR strategies, continue to entertain and engage consumers and further drive customer acquisition and retention.
