Ben Reynolds leads the HookLogic retail account team in implementing integrated media strategies that monetize shopping traffic on ecommerce sites.
NEW YORK – May 22, 2012 – HookLogic, the leading provider of ecommerce media solutions and services, today announced the appointment of Ben Reynolds as SVP of Account Services, Retail. Formerly the Head of Account Management for Premier Retail Networks (PRN), Reynolds leads the HookLogic retail account team in implementing integrated media strategies that monetize shopping traffic on ecommerce sites.
Reynolds arrives at HookLogic with more than 20 years of experience in all facets of shopper media, including sales, marketing, and digital place-based media. At PRN, he held multiple positions managing valuable relationships with large retailers such as Best Buy, Target, and Sam’s Club. Previous to his retail experience he held finance, marketing, and sales positions at Sara Lee Corporation.
“Today’s shopper has seized control of their path to purchase, and retail websites have emerged as an important influence node in this journey,” said Jeff Griffin, President, Retail, for HookLogic. “The combination of Ben’s retail and brand pedigrees gives him the expertise to help retailers build new revenue streams while protecting site experience, meeting advertiser needs, and serving shoppers’ goals.”
Reynolds will work with sites such as Overstock.com, Shoebuy.com, Staples.com, and Wayfair in leveraging their unique shopping experience to unlock the value of powerful influence points deep into a shopper’s purchase journey.
“My career path has been simple --I’m serving the shopper,” said Reynolds. “HookLogic has the technology and services that bring together retailers and brand advertisers in ways that serve shoppers while they research their purchase decisions.”
Reynolds’ hire builds on a sequence of client, personnel, and capital investment news from HookLogic over the past year, including a $9.5 million growth investment from Bain Capital Ventures.
