In this role, Sippel will oversee the strategy, planning and execution of the systems that power edo’s unique card-linked offer platform. Sippel brings to edo more than 15 years leading software product development strategy and operations for major global brands, including Orbitz Worldwide.

Prior to joining edo, Sippel served as vice president of engineering and vice president of product strategy at Orbitz Worldwide, where he transformed IT operations and developed long-term strategies for product marketing and distribution. Prior to these roles, Sippel served as the company’s senior director of technology, where he was responsible for the technical strategy and direction of the hotel systems that powered websites such as Orbitz.com, Cheaptickets.com and eBookers.com. He was also one of the initial developers of the Orbitz hotel and private label systems. Previously, Sippel was a technology consultant at Ernst & Young, specializing in Web brand and mobile technologies.

Sippel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin. He earned his MBA from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management in Chicago.
