The e-mail marketing firm buys a stake in Brazil-based Pmweb.
E-mail marketing services provider Responsys Inc. hopes to gain business in Brazil and Latin America via its purchase of a minority stake in Pmweb, a digital marketing firm based in Brazil that will be renamed PmwebResponsys.
“Brazil and Latin America are large and rapidly growing markets and represent a strategic growth opportunity for Responsys," says Dan Springer, Responsys CEO and chairman. Retailers use firms like Responsys to manage their e-mail marketing campaigns.
According to the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, Kohl’s Corp., No. 31, Coach Inc., No. 164, and Fathead LLC, No. 292, are among Responsys’ clients.
