Investor reaction to the fourth quarter and 2011 financial results for, an online jewelry retailer and auctioneer, was positive last week. The company’s stock led the Internet Retailer Online Retail Index with a 19.2% gain over the week prior.’s stock closed at 62 cents last week compared with a March 9 closing price of 52 cents following the March 15 announcement of its results., No. 150 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, said it had a net income of $98,000 in the fourth quarter, but a 2011 loss of $7.0 million. The e-retailer cited lower demand for jewelry as a factor. Overall, the Online Retail Index gained 2.26% last week, close to growth in the broader market. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 2.43% and the Standard & Poor’s 500 gained 2.40% last week.

The Online Retail Index tracks 25 publicly traded e-retailers and e-commerce technology providers.
