Diane Lavietes will help expand the firm’s e-commerce recruiting practice.
Lavietes joined Berglass + Associates in 2007 and has helped such companies as online jeweler David Yurman and online apparel retailers Stuart Weitzman and Kenneth Cole make key hires, Berglass + Associates says.
“The digital world is the fastest-growing segment in retail, both as a sales driver and brand builder, and Diane is at the forefront of our company’s growth in this category,” says Cynthia Aherne, executive vice president of Berglass + Associates.
Before she was hired by Berglass + Associates, Lavietes worked for such companies as The Walt Disney Co, American Express, Conde Nast, The New York Times Co. and Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa. She has also was senior vice president of marketing for the Magazine Publishers of America.
