Amazon’s m-commerce site led response time testing across three carriers.
Amazon’s mobile site produced the fastest iPhone access time across all service providers among large web retailers in December, says Compuware Gomez. Last month, Amazon.com produced an average iPhone mobile response time of 2.99 seconds.
M.Sears.com came in second at 3.47 seconds, followed by LLBean.com (4.17 seconds), m.Newegg.com (4.43) and Dell.com (4.51).
Gomez measures the average iPhone response time for the three major service carriers: AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless. Testing for all 20 retailers takes place once per hour per carrier from two U.S. locations (Virginia and California).
