Macy’s placed first among large retailers in December availability tests, says Compuware Gomez. Last month, the retailer posted an availability score of 100% for Internet Explorer and Firefox browser tests.
Three sites—JCPenney.com, OfficeMax.com and Williams-Sonoma.com—tied for second in Internet Explorer tests with a score of 99.99% availability. HSN.com and LLBean.com were next, tied at 99.98%.
In Firefox testing three retailers, Dell.com, HPShopping.com and VictoriasSecret.com, tied for second place with a 99.99% availability rating. JCPenney.com and Overstock.com followed, tied at 99.98%.
The average Internet Explorer availability for the 22 retailers measured in December was 99.88%, according to the Compuware Gomez Benchmarks study. The average Firefox availability for the same group of retailers last month was 99.92%.
Availability is determined by the percentage of tests that load correctly.
