TV and online retailer ShopNBC.com has appointed a new chief merchandising officer. Annette Repasch has worked as vice president of softlines for ShopNBC since May, when she left rival QVC, a unit of Liberty Media Corp., No. 8 in Internet Retailer’s Top 500 Guide. Repasch is one of several former QVC employees that have moved over to ShopNBC in the last year.
Repasch spent more than seven years at QVC as vice president and general merchandising manager of apparel and accessories. She previously held senior merchandising roles at retail chains Stage Stores Inc., Saks Fifth Avenue Inc. (No. 38 in the Top 500), Lane Bryant (a unit of Charming Shoppes Inc., No. 132) and The Bon-Ton Stores Inc., (No. 520 in Internet Retailer’s Second 500 Guide.
