Daily deal leader Groupon continues rollingo out new offerings.
Daily deal leader Groupon isn’t resting on its laurels. In the past year Groupon launched Groupon Now, which offers limited-time vouchers to consumers based on their location. It rolled out Groupon Goods, a flash-sale site where consumers can buy a small number of products from merchants for a short time. It partnered with concert promoter Live Nation Entertainment to develop online discount ticketing service Groupon Live. And it worked with travel site Expedia to launch discount travel package site Groupon Getaways. “Expect us to make ambitious bets in technology and product innovation that distract us from our current business,” CEO Andrew Mason recently wrote. “Some bets we’ll get right, and others we’ll get wrong, but we think it’s the only way to continuously build exciting products.”
