E&T Plastics, a supplier of plastic sheet, rod, tube and film, has named Pam Aungst its first-ever e-commerce manager.
The creation of the e-commerce manager position is key as E&T Plastics aims to launch an e-commerce site next year. It currently distributes its products out of eight locations across the United States.
“The creation of an e-commerce web site is a natural progression for E&T that will allow us to service a broader customer base,” says Aungst.
As e-commerce manager, Aungst will oversee the site’s launch, as well direct the company’s online marketing efforts, which include a number of social media efforts, such as a blog.
“I want to create an online buying experience that replicates E&T’s commitment to its customers and attention to detail,” she says.
