NEW YORK – October 17, 2011 – iCrossing, a global digital marketing agency, today announced the appointment of two executives in support of the agency’s strategy to build connected brands for CMOs.
Mitchell Yoo has been named vice president, global engagement lead, acting as global lead for the LG Electronics account, which was awarded to iCrossing earlier this year. Joni Rentz has been named senior creative director. Yoo and Rentz are based in iCrossing's New York office.
Before joining iCrossing, Yoo was a global account director for Wunderman on the Dell account. He managed all B2B product launches and led agency relationships with global SMB clients. Before Wunderman, he was a vice president, managing director at Draftfcb, where his major accounts included Hewlett-Packard, Motorola, and DirectTV. Yoo also has a solid advertising background, having held positions at Modem Media, R/GA and Ogilvy & Mather. Yoo reports to Marlin Jackson, executive vice president, global development.
Joni Rentz was previously a freelance creative director for clients such as Ogilvy, JWT and Agency.com. Earlier in her career, she was a senior vice president, creative director at Draftfcb, where her clients included HP, Kraft and Starbucks. She has also held creative positions at Wunderman and Ogilvy Interactive, working with clients including AT&T, Citibank, IBM and NYTimes Digital. Rentz reports to Lori Wilson, vice president, group creative director.
