The search giant today rolled out new ways for marketers to understand the in-store impact of their ads.
The luxury e-retailer is a joint venture between its French parent and American Express.
Luxury e-retailer Vente-Privee USA has announced new members of its executive team.
In July, Vente and Amex hired Mike Steib as CEO of the US e-retail operation. He came from Google Inc., where he was director of video advertising for the Americas.
Other new hires include two executives from Google and one executive from American Express. “We are excited to have such a talented group of people working together to partner with high-end brands to deliver amazing shopping events to our members,” says Steib.
The new executives include:
• Robin Domeniconi, who becomes vice president of marketing. Domeniconi was senior vice president and chief brand officer for media company Elle Group.
• Nicolas Genest is the company’s new vice president of technology. He was chief technology officer for Vente-Privee.com in France.
• Laure de Metz becomes divisional CEO for Vente-Privee USA Brands after working as vice president of licensing for Marc Jacobs International LLC, an apparel retailer.
• Tim Quinn is now vice president for financial strategy, operations and reporting. He was vice president of investments, integration and measurement at American Express.
•John Saroff becomes vice president for digital factory and sales production. Saroff was head of TV ads and strategic partnerships at Google.
• Jill Szuchmacher is vice president for business development after also working at Google as the search engine’s director of business development.
Vente-Privee has operated in the private sale market since 2001 and says it has 13 million members in seven countries.
