Mobile Apps for iPhone and Android

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 13, 2011 — Local.com Corporation (NASDAQ: LOCM), a leading online local media company, today announced that its Spreebird daily deals business has launched mobile applications for the iPhone®, iPad®, iPod Touch®, and Android™ smartphones and mobile devices. The new mobile apps allow consumers to browse, buy and redeem Spreebird deals on their iOS or Android-enabled mobile phones, enabling them to save money on great deals while supporting their favorite local school or non-profit.

According to eMarketer, nearly 20 million U.S. adults will redeem a mobile coupon or deal this year. The company also estimates that by 2013, the number using such mobile coupons and deals will nearly double.
