The e-retailer spends at least 50% of its monthly display ad budget on the highly targeted, data-driven—and often cheap—ad placements using programmatic platforms.
The web-only plus-size apparel retail unit of Redcats is adding a catalog and TV advertising.
OneStopPlus.com, a web-only retailer of apparel for plus-size women and big and tall men, has expanded in the Canadian marketplace with the launch of a print shopping catalog and a TV advertising campaign to build brand awareness. OneStopPlus.com is a division of Redcats USA, No. 33 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide. OneStopPlus sells products online in Canada and more than 90 other countries.
The catalog offers an assortment of contemporary plus-size fashion from Redcats’ brands, including Woman Within, Roaman’s, Jessica London and Avenue, and the advertising campaign will target plus-size Canadian women through major networks, the company says.
“After recently launching international shipping to meet the demands of our growing global customer base, we saw a huge spike in sales from the Canadian market–making it the current No. 1 international hub for OneStopPlus.com,” says Jim Lofgren, vice president/brand manager for OneStopPlus.com.
In July, the French retailing conglomerate PPR SA announced it planned to put Redcats up for sale. Redcats generated $716.5 million in 2010 U.S. web sales. PPR is No. 5 in the Internet Retailer Top 300 Europe.
