Mobile advertising accounts for 76% of that spending as marketers increasingly shift spending to the social network’s mobile ads.
Quidsi’s upcoming YoYo.com will sell more than 20,000 toys.
Quidsi Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com Inc., plans to add another e-commerce site to its lineup. The company says YoYo.com, a toy e-retail site, will debut soon and carry more than 20,000 products, ranging from well-known brands to specialty items. Quidsi already sells toys through its Diapers.com e-retail property.
Diapers.com, Quidsi’s flagship site, is No. 72 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide. Amazon.com, No. 1 in the Guide, completed its $500 million acquisition of Quidsi in April. Quidsi also operates Soap.com, BeautyBar.com and Wag.com, a pet supply site that made its debut in July.
Like its sister sites, YoYo.com will offer free two-day shipping on all orders of $49 or more, according to terms listed on YoYo.com. It also will have a 365-day return policy. Quidsi calls YoYo.com “a happy place to shop for toys.”
