Overstock and Apple post the best response times in August

Overstock and Apple finished with the top times in Internet Explorer and Firefox testing.

High broadband response time testing and produced the best high broadband access times among 20 large web retailers tested in August, according to Compuware Gomez (more from Compuware Gomez ). (0.92) came in third and was followed by (0.96) and (1.00).

For the month of August, the average large retailer’s high broadband response time for a shopper using Internet Explorer was 1.49 seconds, the Gomez study shows. The average Firefox response time among the same group of retailers last month was 1.48 seconds.
