The electronics retailer renews its deal with a warranty provider.
Customers of personal computer and consumer electronics retailer Newegg Inc. can continue to purchase extended warranty coverage on many of their technology purchases.
Newegg, No. 12 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, last week renewed for three years its partnership with Service Net, which sells extended warranties on a variety of consumer electronics, including desktop PCs, notebooks and netbooks, many PC peripherals, TVs, cameras, camcorders, GPS systems, MP3 players, home theaters, cell phones and small appliances. Replacement coverage also is available for many PC parts and components, small appliances and consumer electronics products.
The extended service plans range from one to four years on TVs, down to two years or one year on all other categories. Accidental damage from handling coverage is available from the date of product purchase for cameras, handhelds and notebooks.
Newegg customers can purchase extended warranties along with their product selections by adding them to their cart during checkout. Online instructional videos offer information on choosing the right warranty.
