Online games rental company GameFly Inc. today launched a national summer-long promotion with the Six Flags Entertainment Corp., the regional theme park company, offering guests extended free GameFly trial memberships. The promotion lasts through Sept. 5.
GameFly, No. 155 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, will provide 1 million gift cards for giveaway at each park’s exits.
The promotion will run at 11 domestic Six Flags parks and will be marketed via online ticket receipts, banner ads on SixFlags.com and an e-mail blast to Six Flags season pass holders, as well as through in-park offers.
In addition, GameFly will run promotional content on the Six Flags television network and the in-park Jumbotron big-screen networks. Up to 35,000 extended trial memberships also will be given away to Six Flags seasonal employees.
