Specialty apparel retailer LuLuLemon Athletica Inc. has hired a new senior vice president with responsibility for global e-commerce. Chris Ladd comes from footwear manufacturer and retailer Crocs Inc., where he most recently was senior vice president of global marketing and direct channel.
Crocs is No. 198 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide; LuLuLemon is No. 229.
At LuLuLemon, Ladd reports to CEO Christine Day. His responsibilities include shaping the retailer’s business strategy, overseeing the web experience and supervising design, content and brand standards.
At Crocs, Ladd was involved in such areas as store visual merchandising, retail store design, social and digital media, cross-channel campaign management and overall brand experience. Previously he worked as an executive as TextureMedia, an interactive marketing agency. He also held marketing and e-commerce positions at golf equipment company Titleist, golf apparel firm Footjoy Worldwide, and footwear company Reebok.
