Fifth Gear Hires a Vice President of Operations

Jake Vogel will be responsible for operations of all Fifth Gear warehouse facilities and the business services division.

INDIANAPOLIS, IN- April 25, 2011 – Fifth Gear, a provider of outsourced order fulfillment, contact center, ecommerce technology, and marketing services for retailers, is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Jake Vogel as vice president of operations.  Reporting to company president Matt Konkle, Vogel will be responsible for operations of all Fifth Gear warehouse facilities and the business services division. The company specializes in services for ecommerce and catalog retailers.

Vogel brings a wealth of operations and management experience to the Fifth Gear executive team. Most recently, Vogel served as the vice president of operations for TABCom, a member of the Internet Retailer Top 500, where he was instrumental in day-to-day oversight of their distribution centers, facilities, and technology center.  Vogel’s previous industry experience includes work as Technology Group Director at Dendrite International, and Director of Operations for CDW and Micro Warehouse, LLC.

Fifth Gear provides multi-location distribution to its retail clients from its warehouse facilities in Hazleton, Pennsylvania and Louisiana, Missouri and contact center services at three locations in Louisiana and Moberly, Missouri.  The company’s corporate headquarters is located in Indianapolis, Indiana.
