Breck Morrison and Scott Rynd have joined the company’s executive team.
Dallas, Texas, April 3, 2011 – SpeedFC, Inc. Breck Morrison and Scott Rynd have joined the company’s executive team. Both Morrison and Rynd are based at SPEED’s headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
Assuming the role of Vice President, Software Development, Morrison comes to SPEED with extensive experience in e-commerce, Supply Chain Management, ERP Systems and ATG development, including recent roles as VP of Software Development for Omnisys and VP of Technology at Handango. With an Electrical Engineering degree from Texas A&M University’s College of Engineering, and over 13 years of progressive leadership in Information Technology, he possesses deep expertise in IT best practices and a vast array of experience in B2B integrations and B2C eCommerce. In his new role, Morrison assumes delivery responsibility for all of SPEED’s software development, including the management of SPEED’s IT offices in Dallas, Texas and Queretaro, Mexico.
Rynd joins SPEED as Vice President, IT Operations, bringing a wealth of experience drawn from numerous executive level positions over the past 16 years. Notable experience includes VP of MIS at American Contractors Insurance Group, VP Technology/CIO at Brink’s Home Security, Corporate VP of IT & Information Security/CIO and interim US Region VP Supply Chain Logistics at CellStar, Senior Director Infrastructure & Information Security at Handango, and VP Technology/CTO at Wireless One Distributors. Rynd has a stellar record of successfully building high performance infrastructure, operations and development teams, and leading such technology initiatives as large-scale virtualization, ATG commerce, redundant data centers and call centers, and large-scale compliance projects for Sarbanes-Oxley and PCI.
