Rob Goldberg will oversee e-commerce marketing for the resort apparel retailer.
Apparel manufacturer and retailer Tommy Bahama Group Inc. has named Rob Goldberg as its new senior vice president of marketing. Goldberg will oversee marketing activities for all channels, including e-commerce site TommyBahama.com.
Goldberg joined Tommy Bahama in 2010 as head of the retailer’s restaurant division. "Since joining our company, Rob has proven to be a creative and effective leader with a natural talent for marketing," says CEO Terry Pillow. "His experience has given him great insight into the Tommy Bahama brand and we are confident he can take our marketing efforts to the next level.”
Goldberg’s job includes unifying the retailer’s businesses with a consistent brand message of approachable luxury. “I’m excited to work with a very talented team that understands the important role that Tommy Bahama plays for people seeking comfort, relaxation and escape,” Goldberg says.
Prior to joining Tommy Bahama, Goldberg was president of the Moana Hotel & Restaurant Group. He was also CEO at the PlumpJack Group and held executive level positions at Hard Rock Group.
