Diet and meal-delivery service company eDiets.com has hired Jennifer Hartnett as chief marketing officer. She reports to CEO Kevin McGrath and will oversee all the retailer’s marketing efforts, focusing on customer acquisition, retention and reactivation.
She previously worked as vice president of marketing for Parisian Slim, a diet company founded by a former Nutrisystem Inc. executive. Between 2005 and 2009 she worked as creative director of Nutrisystem, another retailer of weight-loss plans that is No. 56 in the Top 500 Guide. She was involved in online advertising campaigns along with other marketing activities. She also has worked for other Top 500 online retailers, including Macy’s Inc. (20) and David’s Bridal Inc. (321).
