‘Peek...Aren’t You Curious’ has piqued Nordstrom’s interest enough to invest.
Nordstrom Inc. announced today it will soon sell items from children’s apparel and accessories retailer and manufacturer Peek...Aren’t You Curious online and in stores. It also will become a minority shareholder in the company. Nordstrom would not disclose how much it invested in Peek.
Nordstrom will begin selling the goods online and in 18 Nordstrom stores in February. It plans to roll out Peek merchandise to more stores over time. Initially, eight Nordstrom stores will house Peek shops inside the retailer’s kids department, Nordstrom says.
Co-founded in 2006 by Tina Canales, Peek sells children’s apparel online at PeekKids.com and in six stores in California, Arizona and Texas.
