Last month, online shoppers using either Internet Explorer or Firefox could access the computer and electronics retailer’s site 99.99% of the time.
The average Internet Explorer availability for the top 23 retailers in October was 99.59%, Gomez says. The average availability for Firefox testing last month was 99.19%.
Six other retailers’ web sites (Apple.com, CDW.com, LLBean.com, OfficeDepot.com, Staples.com and Target.com) also tested at 99.99% availability for Internet Explorer. Rounding out the top performers for Firefox testing were Apple.com and VictoriasSecret.com (99.98%), followed by CDW.com, Newegg.com, Overstock.com and OfficeMax.com (tied at 99.95%).
