The Jones Group Inc., which operates such web sites as NineWest.com and Bandolino.com, has hired two merchandising executives, both of whom will have e-commerce responsibilities.
The company, which focuses on apparel, shoes and accessories, has appointed Rodney Hutton as chief merchandising officer of Anne Klein brands. Daniela Bocresion has become chief merchandising officer of Rachel Roy brands. Both report to Susan Metzger, CEO of women’s wholesale sportswear for The Jones Group.
“Their industry experience will be instrumental in growing these valuable brands to their full marketplace potential,” says Richard Dickson, president and CEO of branded businesses for Jones, No. 219 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
Hutton comes from Fashion Iconic LLC, a consulting firm where he was president. He worked on brand merchandising, marketing and sales strategies for retail, wholesale and e-commerce. Bocresion previously worked as senior vice president of merchandising and marketing at Lacoste USA, an apparel retailer. She oversaw merchandising for wholesale, retail and e-commerce.
