In the next 17 months, it expects 10% of its B2B customers will be transacting on the web, an executive says.
The retailer will populate the site with Reevoo’s customer reviews.
Best Buy Co. will populate its U.K. site with customer reviews from Reevoo when the consumer electronics retailer launches the site this fall.
Best Buy, No. 10 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, says the site also will include the “My Best Buy” rewards program, a technology blog and product advice.
Reevoo, based in the United Kingdom, will enable the retailer to display product reviews on the product detail page next to the item’s description and price.
“The authentic consumer reviews from Reevoo will complement our already extensive range of advice and information about all kinds of consumer technology,” says deVere Forster, the managing director for online for Best Buy UK.
Reevoo says it has more than 1 million reviews for 75,000 electrical products.
