Dawn Robertson takes over at the women’s apparel retailer.
Redcats USA has appointed Dawn Robertson as CEO of the multichannel retailer’s United Retail Inc., which sells plus-size women’s fashion apparel, footwear and accessories that carry the Avenue brand. Her first day on the job is today.
Redcats is No. 31 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
Robertson has 25 years of retail experience, Redcats says. She previously worked as president of Sean Jean, overseeing design, production, sales, merchandising, marketing and retail stores for the fashion retailer. She was president of Old Navy from 2006 to 2008.
“We are delighted to have Dawn join the Redcats team. She brings with her an excellent track record of retail and merchandising experience,” says Sylvain Desjonquères, president and CEO of Redcats USA. “I am confident that Dawn will be a tremendous asset as we look to further position Avenue as a leader in plus size women’s apparel.”
Redcats recently launched a mobile web site for OneStopPlus.com, another plus-size women’s apparel merchant that is part of Redcats USA.
