Jomashop.com moves from manual reviews to automated software, opening the door to more international sales.
Brian Curran will work to improve the customer experience for the vendor's clients.
RightNow Technologies Inc., which provides customer data and contact center technology, has named former BestBuy.com vice president Brian Curran vice president, web solutions.
Curran is tasked with working to understand RightNow clients' needs, then translating those needs into new products. He will also work on customer retention and improving customer satisfaction.
Curran previously worked as vice president, retail customer experience at Best Buy Co., where he worked on BestBuy.com, as well as the retailer’s contact centers. He also worked as executive vice president and chief operating officer at mobile phone online retailer Simplexity, which operates Wirefly.com.
"I have walked in our clients' shoes and know what is at stake in undertaking new technology implementations, building and operating web sites, and running global contact centers,” he says. “My focus is to streamline processes, help our customers build exceptional customer experiences and leverage our solutions to not only reduce costs, but to drive revenue."
