Cathy Halligan has held multiple e-commerce jobs for the retailing giant.
PowerReviews Inc., which sells rating and reviews technology to online retailers, has appointed Cathy Halligan as senior vice president of sales and marketing, a new position. Halligan had worked as vice president of marketing development, global e-commerce, for Wal-Mart Stores Inc., No. 6 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide.
“I will be leading the company’s continued rapid customer and revenue growth,” Halligan says. “I will also be responsible for new market opportunities and social commerce solutions.”
She also has worked as chief marketing officer and vice president of multichannel integration for Walmart.com, and in executive positions at retailers Williams-Sonoma Inc., No. 26 in the guide, and Blue Nile Inc., No. 58, and The Gymboree Corp., No. 301.
Halligan reports to Pehr Luedtke, CEO of PowerReviews.
