One of every five beauty purchases online is made via the Amazon marketplace, according to a new report.
The company hires L.L. Bean veteran Chris Wilson.
EBags.com has named Chris Wilson chief marketing officer and vice president of marketing. Wilson is responsible for the retailer’s marketing, web design and branding and will also work on improving the customer experience throughout all eBags.com customer touch points.
Chris comes to eBags.com after having spent 17 years at L.L. Bean Inc., where he most recently was vice president of e-commerce. His career at L.L. Bean included positions in loyalty, customer acquisition and international.

Wilson serves on the board of directors of Shop.org.
