He is Doug Mack, former CEO of rich media firm Scene7.
One Kings Lane, a members-only site that offers deals on luxury home furnishings, has named Doug Mack as CEO.
Mack was co-founder and CEO of Scene7, a provider of rich media technology for web sites that Adobe Systems acquired in May 2007. Mack joined Adobe and most recently served as vice president and general manager of digital imaging and dynamic media. Before Scene7, he was CEO and co-founder of online home décor retailer Goodhome.com.
Mack will work with One Kings Lane founders Alison Pincus and Susan Feldman to grow the e-retail site, the company says.
“Doug has deep expertise working with large-scale e-commerce brands and knows the consumer home category,” says Feldman. “He brings the perfect combination of skills to lead the company at this point in our rapid expansion. We have already experienced significant growth. Sales for May quadrupled year over year and we are excited to scale under Doug’s leadership, leveraging our strong brand, growing member base, deep customer loyalty and key relationships in the design community.”
One Kings Lane, which is backed by venture capital, launched last year.
