Venda CEO says 200 of its e-commerce clients will have m-commerce sites by year’s end.
The m-commerce universe could vastly grow by year’s end if a partnership announced today at the Internet Retailer Conference & Exhibition blossoms as predicted.
On-demand e-commerce platform provider Venda has begun offering the mobile commerce platform of Digby. The integration comes at a substantial discount off of Digby’s standalone price, says Jeffrey Max, CEO of Venda. He tells Internet Retailer that five merchants have launched the integrated package and expects 200 of Venda’s hundreds of clients to have m-commerce sites by the end of the year.
The combined technology is dubbed Venda Advanced Mobile Platform powered by Digby. It provides multichannel merchants a unified shopping experience between in-store, online, catalog and mobile devices, Venda says.
