Demandware says 30 of its clients booked more than $100 million in online sales in 2015, up from 22 a year earlier.
CDWow.com Ltd., an online retailer of music, movies, video games and books, has promoted Anthea Cohen from marketing executive to head of online marketing.
Cohen, who has been with CDWow for two and a half years, will oversee such areas as e-mail marketing, search engine optimization, affiliate marketing and social media. CDWow, No. 174 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, plans to offer customers more personalized offers both on its e-commerce sites and through e-mail, Cohen says.
She says the e-retailer also plans to step up its social marketing efforts and to bring management of its affiliate program in-house this year in order to energize the program. “We are ramping up offers for our affiliates this year and will be offering extra exclusive affiliate promotions,” Cohen says.
CDWow manages 14 e-commerce sites around the world, including sites targeting the U.S., Canada, France, Japan, China, Sweden, Ireland, the Netherlands, Hong Kong, Denmark, Australia and New Zealand, as well as cdwow.com and cdwow.net.
