The top 10 multi-category computers and consumer electronics retail destinations in January with unique visitors in millions this year and last and growth from prior year, according to Nielsen Online, were:

  • Newegg.com, 5.54, 4.87, 14%
  • eBay Electronics, 5.27, 6.85, -23%
  • Gamestop.com, 4.73, 3.30, 43%
  • Geeknet, 4.26, 6.33, -33%
  • TigerDirect.com, 3.96, 4.89, -19%
  • Optimum Store Online, 3.32, 3.46, -4%
  • eBay Computers, 2.52, 3.72, -32%
  • Sony, 2.20, 2.85, -23%
  • Sony Electronics, 1.97, 1.80, 9%
  • Circuit City, 1.73, 10.91, -84%

 

Unique visitors count only once each shopper who came to a site, no matter how many times the shopper visited. This is a custom list compiled by Internet Retailer of the top online shopping destinations based on Nielsen Online data. Rankings may contain multiple web sites from the same retailer or manufacturer.
