An upstart home decor private sales web site raises funding

One Kings Lane, a home décor private sale web site that launched in March, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding in a round led by venture capital firms Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, First Round Capital and angel investor Reid Hoffman.

One Kings Lane, an upstart home furnishing and décor private sale web site, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding.


Venture capital firms Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, First Round Capital, along with angel investor Reid Hoffman, provided the funds.

One Kings Lane was launched in March by Susan Feldman and Alison Gelb Pincus. The site features at least two 72-hour brand- or theme-specific sales five days a week.

"We have been so impressed by the steep growth of the business and the loyal community One Kings Lane has built in such a short period of time," says Aileen Lee, KPCB partner. "We`re thrilled about OKL`s growth potential."
