Pet Supermarket, a privately-owned pet store chain, has launched its first e-commerce site.
Pet Supermarket, a privately-owned chain of more than 100 pet stores in the Southeast, has launched its first e-commerce site at www.PetSupermarket.com.
The site features more than 3,000 SKUs of toys, food and other pet products, with plans to add additional merchandise. Product pages feature detailed product information, and, for some items, web-only discounted pricing.
“This creates a tremendous opportunity for us,” says Steve Feinberg, vice president of merchandise and marketing. “This allows us to instantly show the Pet Supermarket difference to people across the United States.”
The site was developed in-house, using Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 software.
