In her new role as vice president of marketing for PennySaverUSA.com, Park will oversee brand and consumer marketing for its network of web sites, covering online content, user interface, community interactions, mobile commerce and customer acquisition and retention efforts. Prior to joining PennySaverUSA.com, Park was head of brand strategy, e-commerce and online marketing for the multiple web properties of Musician’s Friend, which is the online division of retail chain Guitar Center Inc.
Williams, filling a newly created position at PennySaverUSA.com as vice president of e-commerce, will oversee online sales, business-to-business partnerships and advertising, and other initiatives, the company says. Previously, Williams was the director of e-commerce at the Lane Bryant Catalog division of Charming Shoppes Inc., a multichannel retailer of women’s apparel. Prior to Charming Shoppes, he was director of e-commerce and marketing at Sierra Trading Post, a multichannel retailer of apparel and outdoor sports gear.
PennySaverUSA.com and its sister operation, TheFlyer.com, are in the Shoppers Publications division of Harte-Hanks and provide online ads for store and web merchants nationally. The PennySaverUSA.com and TheFlyer.com brands are also used to identify the printed advertising material that Harte-Hanks distributes in California and Florida, respectively.
