The Knot, a wedding planning and retail site, has acquired Felicite.com, a developer of wish list technology and operator of eWish.com, a stand-alone gift registry service used by 200 retailers.

Felicite.com’s technology allows multiple shoppers to contribute to the purchase of an item from a wish list. It also allows wedding guests to contribute cash to a wish list that the bride and groom can apply to purchases on the list.
About 200 retailers use the eWish.com registry. The Knot will continue to sell eWish services to other retailers who want wedding and baby registries on their web sites. The Knot, No. 345 in the Internet Retailer Top 500 Guide, will not use eWish on its own site.
