Marketing analytics firm Covario names a vice president of search strategy

Covario, a provider of analytics software for managing online marketing campaigns, has named Internet search marketing veteran Mike Gullaksen to the newly created position of vice president of search strategies.

Covario Inc., a provider of analytics software for managing online marketing campaigns, has named Internet search marketing veteran Mike Gullaksen to the newly created position of vice president of search strategies.

Gullaksen will lead Covario’s efforts to expand the company’s technology and services offerings related to natural search engine optimization, says CEO Russ Mann. “Gullaksen is a seasoned industry professional with a deep understanding of search from both business marketing and technical perspectives,” Mann says.

Gullaksen joins Covario from iCrossing, a provider of online marketing and web analytics technology and services, where he served as senior vice president of search and worked with clients including home furnishings e-retailer Williams-Sonoma Inc., The Coca-Cola Company and Bank of America.
